The Pullmantur cruise company in Panama announces the arrival of 52 shipments from Colón as a base port for its itineraries through the Caribbean Sea during 2019 and will carry it out with its flagship: Monarch, the one that docks every Friday next year in the port of Columbus.
The company estimates that with these operations Panama will move a flow of more than 130 thousand people, including those guests for which Colón is the starting point of their vacations, as well as those for which Panama is one of the destinations that are part of their cruise.
It is projected that the economic impact of Pullmantur Cruceros activity in Panama will oscillate US $ 21 million, around 10% more than this season.
On the other hand the President & CEO of Pullmantur Cruceros, Richard Vogel, this growth “is related to an increase of our capacity in the Caribbean for the next season as we will sail, without exception, every week of the year”.
